Hmm...

OK, so I have a bunch of free time.  The kids are all doing whatever it is they're doing....so I decide...'Hey...a journal entry!'  Open up the entry page.....and then sit here.  Uhhhhhhhhhhh.  Hmmmmmmmmm.  Well.......oh yeah!  Hmm...no.  Oh!  Err...nah.

<insert blank look here>

I'm brain dead today.  I hate summer.  It sucks the life out of you and leaves you for comatose.  Pllllleeeeeaasseee let it rain!  Crimeny.

  1. Huh.  Well, I've done two journal entries already, and have now moved on to making candles.  Problem is, that I haven't done it in so long, I don't remember which wax was for containers and which was for pillars...now I have to look it up.  Blah!  Then I have to figure out what I want it to smell like...I mean, I only have about 30 different scents here...oyyy...

  3. When I can't come up with an entry about my current life, I think of some old memory from youth, and write about that.

  4. Man, that graphic looks like I feel today.  I hate summer in Alabama, not Colorado.  At least in the shade in Colorado it is cool, no change in the shade in Alabama.  Our house does not have central air, so only the living room has air.  I swear it was a hundred degrees in my bedroom last night.  I could hardly sleep.  The summer in Alabama lasts nine months, I swear!!!!  I am dying here!!!  I am ready to go back where I can get some relief from this ungodly heat!!!!!!  I don't have a brain left!!!!

  8. I'm already just about fed up with Summer too.  I never would have guessed a mild East Coast summer could be so miserable, but it's true.  And the heat really does take the motivation out of you.

    I hope something delightfully wacky happens soon so you'll have something to write about!

  9. Love the graphic!  I totally understand to the braindead thing.  I'm so there some days!  Summer fries the brains.  Between the heat, the kids home from school, errands, paying the bills, the job, the housework, cooking-- and life in general it's just too much at times.  Do we ever get to just have a vacation from it all?  Hugs,
    Lisa

  10. I hear you and can relate for sure! You can usually find me in the summer by following the trail of water, which is me turning into a puddle of sweat..sucks the life right out of me..lol!

  11. Maybe use this free to time the unwrap a "big package"!  Works for me when I'm bored!  LOL  But seriously -- "writer's block" is something I have to battle every single day!   Hug, Russ
