Before & After

I painted the kitchen....  I know what I think, but what do you think?  :)

Before - country apple wallpaper:

 

After - deep dark red:

  7. warm and inviting but I have burgandy in my house not on the walls as my house is small and you know what this one lady was told by an interior decoratoer to put navy on the cieling and it works too makes the cieling seem like it goes on forever. I love it. and I Love your kitchen its good against the white.

  12. Love the color!  Very warm and inviting.  I am all for darker colors in kitchens though.  No one ever said they had to be whites or light colors, but everyone does that.  You did a great job!!!

    P.S.  I posted some befores and after of laundry room  and basement bathroom today.  Son and DIL, when she was my DIL had redone it.  I love the yellow and white.  Not sure I will leave the lavendar in the bathroom though.  Already have lavendar and mint green, which I do like in the master half-bath.  I will have to get photos of that.  Also posted some way befores of basement.  :-)

  16. I like the deep dark red.  I had that color painted on my bedroom walls a few years ago.  Everyone loved it!

  17. I love that color very much would like to paint my bedroom or living room in that color it's a dark,deep color,warm color and i love dark rooms no i aint no vampire lol. I just hate bright lite and colors... I say it looks great for sure...

  18. Nice job!!  I get motivated to do stuff to my house after watching makeover shows on TLC, but then just I take a nap instead.  LOL.  You'll be happy to know that warmer weather is moving into KC this week.

  20. I am terrible at decorating, so if I was to think in my head about using that color I would think no way.... but I LOVE it.  I  just can't picture things in my head.. I have to SEE it.  It brings more definition and crispness to the room.  Great job.
