Say it ain't so....

Ohhhh, the sadness.  I'm just full of it these days, aren't I?

Not only is every part of my body aching, I'm lacking in sleep (although I DO have coffee because I went out and bought another coffee maker...LOL...just a cheap one til I have time to do some research on the one I really want), and today.....

I turned off Alerts.

::cries::

I know...I'll survive.  But, I won't like it.

Of course, I'll probably pop in from time to time just because I'm addicted like that.

Who wants to come help me load boxes onto the trailer?!  Those who don't want to do that can come help me install sheetrock and do touch up painting.....  anybody?  anybody at all...???  No?  yeah, me neither.

But at any rate......I'm sending y'all.............

  3. I'm going to get rid of my AOL alerts before long, and simply use bloglines.  No slew of e-mails to worry about, just check when I want and see who has new posts.  Take it easy!

  5. Yes, but if you didn't turn off alerts..... think what your mailbox would look like ;p

    I'm with Mosie... I LOVE Bloglines! I only keep a couple of journals on alerts... basically those that are private because Bloglines won't track them <sigh>... But public blogs?? All on Bloglines. In fact it makes it soooo easy to keep track of everyone cause it doesn't matter if they are AOL, Blogger, xanga, or someother strange service, I get all my stuff in one spot AND I can even check stuff from another computer if I want!!

    Anyway, good luck with the move.... Looking forward to hearing about the new place (and all of your funny stories about getting from here to there!!)

    Hey, I will pop over to load boxes, but no painting, thanks. When we move in a few months, we'll be doing the load-it-yourself truck, too. BLAH! Have another cup of coffee and some Ben Gay. Sorry...wish I could help. Have a safe trip!

  8. You don't want to leave your alerts on and find out when you turn your computer back on that your mailbox has exploded during your absense.  Good luck with the move.  NEVER a fun thing.  ~ Mike
