I may have figured it out...

Maybe I'm not that excited about the home search.....

because of our realtor!

"Hmmm..."  one would think.

She's just not agressive like 'We're gonna look and look til we find the right home for you!"

She's more like "Well.....hopefully something will turn up...you just never know....oh, Saturdays?  No, sorry...I have all day Youth Ministry so I'm not available on the weekend.."

the hell?  Isn't that ....a way to NOT make money and keep clients?  Adding to that fact, as a Pagan, I am very tolerant to other religions.  Methinks she isn't...  maybe I'm reading into it, maybe not.

Browsing for another agent can't hurt, hmm?

This sucks.

  1. yes, go on, take ten different agents and you'll have more to choose... and make sure you tell them; it will open a competition :D

  2. Browse for another agent!  She should be available on your terms if she wants to keep you as a client.  Best wishes on the search!

    Love ya!~

  7. Get another one.  She is paid by the seller anyway so she is nothing to you.  Some of them just don't get that they get paid on commision.  I've had some of these lazy slobs over the years.  Dump their ass.  ~ Mike

  13. Like everyone else, I say, Dump the woman and look for a new Realtor. She works for you, and apparently she is not interested in your needs or her job. Good luck. Margo

  14. When i was house hunting, my realtor (she was my cousin) only wanted to show me what she thought i would like even though i specifically told her what i wanted. It took me two years of looking and not finding anything to finally decide to switch realtors.  I went to the realtor of a friend. The first day i met him we looked up houses on the internet and went out and looked at them. The first house i walked into i loved. I was moved in in a month.
    Switch realtors.

  15. I think she should be respected for holding her previous commitments to her youth group, even though I am sure it will loose her work. But with the market getting better for the buyer, I would think other realtors will be tripping over themselves to work with you and find you a house.

    Much Love,
    Mary

  16. Perhaps you should consider another realtor.  They're a dime a dozen.  Or do your own search.  Try doing a spell to attract the house to you.

  17. We disliked our realtor, too, and it really sucked...and we like almost everyone. But she acted like we weren't all that important to her at all, and she was supposed to be working for us. Later we found out we should have made sure to get a  Buyer's realtor, because otherwise they are working for the seller, not you.

Now this last one, who sold our rental property, was great, but he is part of Mandy"s birthfamily so he is extended family.

  22. Sounds like you need a new realtor.  For goodness sake you're looking for a house and that requires some aggresion. As far as the religion thing goes she shouldn't be judging you based on your beliefs.  She's paid to perform a task and the last I checked you don't need to sing Kumbiya to find someone a friggen house!    -Dawn-
