The shriek heard 'round the world?

We moved to Texas in December.

This is now mid April.

I'm still at my mothers', and still looking at at least 8 houses a week.

That is all.

  1. OMG I would die!!!
    Hang in there girl.
    Hugs, Marina

  2. Hope you find something soon to suit you and your family's needs real soon.

    Hugs and prayers,

    :-( Cin

  4. awwwwwwwwww ::lettin' you shriek to your heart's content:: I know how you feel about the house hunting... Cindy and I looked at what seems like 40 or so houses before she found this one, it was fate I tell you...she was driving down the road on the way to work one morning, off her usual route mind you...saw this house for sale.  It had just been listed that morning, Cindy called right away, got me, looked at the house, agreed on it, put a bid on it and purchased it the same day.  We got a heck of a deal on it...see what I mean about Fate?  I hope it happens the same way for you Hon.  Hugz, Teresa

  5. Oh please Amy, if you visit some houses then make it more fun for yourself and us... take some pics and let's share! I love america. I am envious right now! Texas! a dream. My first american boy friend was from Texas, called Norbert but we called him Bert. He was funny... in Paris, working for Disney there.
Be patient, the right one will come.

  6. Ok I think I heard you...lol
    You must be going nuts!
I hope april is your month.

  7. I was just about to ring 999, to tell them of a woman in distress in the Atlantic, but it was you. Thanks for the warning, Amy ;-)

  8. hugs.....come to ny and visit!!!

  9. Valerie, had a brilliant idea take pictures and we'll all help you find your house LOL!
Yeah, I know it has to be just the right one and for that you need it to speak to you.
(Hugs) Hope your luck turns soon! Indigo

  10. Father give AMY a house THE RIGHT HOUSE SOON amen. Amy I dont know how you are doing it as that would drive me crazy. You must be one H E double hockey sticks of a woman

  11. You poor thing!  Just think of all the wonderful advice you'll have to offer novices like me after it's all over (I'm looking at September to move back to Oklahoma...)

You do sound like you're having fun with your family in between the frustrations.  Cherish them!

And hang in there...there must be a really great house waiting to be found when the time is right.

  12. Either you're be being way too picky --- OR ----- the the forces of Goddess Earth are just waiting for you to get to the house you are destined to live in.  What do you think?

  13. I like Valerie's idea...take pictures and let us all help you choose your house Amy.
My new granddaughter has been called Amy...did you know?   Amy Grace.
    A beautiful name!
Chin up angel...this house is definitely going to be a 'special family home' when you find it. Just you hang on in there it will find you in the end.

Get on with buying a place so we can see some pictures of it.

  16. Oh I'm so sorry! :o)
