Well, THAT'S newsworthy

Wiccans Settle Military Grave Lawsuit  <-- clickety clickety.

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and caldron bubble, indeed.

  2. I think this says it all:

    "Wicca is a nature-based religion based on respect for the earth, nature and the cycle of the seasons. Variations of the pentacle not accepted by Wiccans have been used in horror movies as a sign of the devil."

    My Opinion:

    I think the Wiccan religion is very misunderstood and therefore, that is why it had to come down to a lawsuit.  If President Bush were to take the time to learn about Wicca, as I have, I am sure he would change his opinion.

    Even though I am Christian, I recognize the fact that we have the freedom in America to choose our own religion.  That is what is so great about being American.  If we are going to allow other religions to have their emblems, then the Wiccan's should be able to have theirs.  Of course, this is my very humble opinion.

    Blessed Be,  ::wink::

  4. Thanks for the info Amy, I was very glad to read about it. It is good that at last pagan beliefs are being recognised in the States. What a pity President Bush doesnt do his homework more thoroughly.  Maybe things will change here in UK now.

    Blessed Be,

  5. well Im glad that some progress was made here. there have been times where jewish people  have not been alowed to show thier faith so I totally understand how they msut feel. Im glad that an understanding came. After all if its your family memeber then i think the tombstone should say whatever you want.

  7. If Bush (and his supporters) could have what they REALLY wanted -- there wouldn't even be Jewish symbols allowed.  I'm so happy that all those intolerant a-holes are unhappy right now.

    Many witchy hugs to you, Amy!!!

    XOXOXOXO

  9. YAHOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! This is great isn't it Amy??  Bush didn't get his way again, thank goodness... He's such a moron.  Selena Fox does so much for all of us Pagans/Wiccans doesn't She?  and it's about damn time that the recognition is slowly but surely coming around.  Hugz, Teresa

  12. Thanks for pointing this articile out!! It's about time they got around to including the symbol. So many people are ignorant at to the true meaning of the pentacle, it's amazing. (Hugs) Indigo
