the last straw came last night when my brother cursed at Adrian.  Unacceptable.

  9. You know what hon, I hope you do continue to post even if the news isn't all sunshine and roses. Why? Because we're your friends and want to know what's going on in your life. Good or bad, I'm most certainly not going anywhere. As for your brother???? I'll personally kick his rear for ya. (Hugs) Indigo

  10. I am so sorry to hear about that!!  It really is hard being in close quarters with family.  I know, my sister and I haven't hardly had any speaking time since we moved out and we were only there about 6 weeks.  She never calls.  When she does it is very brief.  I think they are angry.  I dunno.  Maybe we all just need a break.  Hang in there... you will find the perfect house soon.  We ended up taking something that was not our dream to get out, but it was most of what we wanted and faster than our dream.  You are doing way better than we did to have lasted as long as you have.  I have very short patience and could only get through a short time. Hugs,
    Lisa

  11. Amy you are fed up, and it is sooo understandable. Nothing is better than finally feeling at Home, sweet home. I am sure you did everything you could up to now to get your house. I wonder why it is so difficult, is it that you don't have much financial power? or expect the houses to be cheaper? or perhaps the environment and a nearer town would be easier? You, little withch, find a little prayer to help yourself and your family to find this house that should become yours :D
Let me look in my book, and I will give you a magic potion... eh eh...I will be back
(if you have one for making lots of money, please send me the formulae)

  13. What Indigo said -- I will gladly kick your brother's sorry ass and even bring a 6'6" stoned Mexican with me to finish him off.  I know you will survive this.  You HAVE to -- because I love you.  Those X's and O's aren't just a comment reflex!

    XOXOXO

Remember th eHUGE family fight we got into at Christmas because of my BIL from hell and his nastiness towards Shelby. It still isn't resolved.

Hugs to you. Things will perk up.

  19. Amy, unfortunately, there's got to be darkness along with the light so that there is a balance.  I hate the dark stuff, but it happens.  Just hang in there and I know that things will brighten up for you in your life really soon!

  20. Hi Amy... in my opinion, I think there is a link with Iraq, if we understand why there is a war in Iraq, and if those wars are related to power and money, then yes, there is a link. Unfortunately, one has to be a foreigner to really feel this underlying and growing racism. It feels like at the beginning of the nazzi movement with the jews. Foreigners are discussed on a daily basis in subtle ways; there is a crisis with work all over the world because of the internet and less manual jobs, less companies needing staff as everything happens on the cyberspace. The foreigners are the black ship then. I guess it is happening in france too. It has become almost unbearable for the British know how to talk about racism in a way that turns it as if they were trying to do something about it, but all they do is put ideas in the mind of the natives, and jobs are not anymore given to foreigners, at least not the jobs that are well paid; it is impossible to live on a job that is low paid, and remaining on benefits is not better at all.
