It's raining, it's pouring....

I've been through my share of hurricanes that this one isn't even raising my eyebrow.  Instead, I shall dance out in the rain a la Julie Andrews.

Rain, glorious rain........

  2. I remember once feeling that exhilerated at having a downpour of rain in the middle of a heatwave.  We all donned our swimming costumes, and went for a tropical shower around the garden.   We slip slid on our derriere's a couple of times but it was an awesome time.  Memories.......sigh!

Enjoy it while you can but keep out of reach of flying roof tiles if there's a hurricane in the offing.

    What? Wrong song? ;)

You know, you could SHARE the rain. We are something like 30+ without it. Not a drop. It's so damn dry there is no dew.

Temp today before the index? 106

    For reals.

Have a happy hop in the rain.

  14. Hey, did you enjoy that storm? At least it probably cooled things off after the wicked heat you've been having. --Cin

  15. I would hate to live where those horrible storms could happen.  Yet, I live in the middle of a tornado village.  I guess it's what you get used to.  I wouldn't want to do earthquakes, either.  Bring on the "sounds like a train" storms.  What did tornados sound like before trains?

  17. I love hurricanes! They never amount to much here in PA, just a lot of wind and rain. There's something very cozy about being inside when a raging storm is outside. :)
