Today.....

Today......I bought a weight scale.

Today.....I weighed myself for the first time in a while.

Today......I went on a diet.

  3. lol...the kids stole the batteries from my scalle...can't weighmyself...and the stupid dryer keeps shrinking my clothes!!!

It's funny you posted this entry.  I started dieting last week and have lost 5-7 pounds so far (it fluctuates).  I have been drinking more water instead of so many sodas and tea (I'm southern, gotta have my sweeeeeet iced tea!) AND you will be proud to know I have started walking again.  My meds have helped take it off so quickly.  I retain a lot of fluid.  I started taking my triamterene again and my Concerta.  It gives me energy, so that has helped too!~

    Best of Luck!  I have no problem losing a few pounds.  The hard part is KEEPING it off.  ::sigh::

  9. First thing you should do on your diet is to stop eating Hands!
    They contain alot of calories.
    That ones to big to fit in your mouth whole anyway, try cutting it up or eating a finger at a time.

  11. Amy, scales are the biatches from Hell!  I don't trust them at all!  My gram's scale says I weigh 220 pounds but that's not possible.  You have to subtract 5 pounds for your shoes, your socks,and the rest of your clothes.  Hell, get on there naked!  -Dawn-

Uh oh . . . scales and I do NOT get along!  They are always slapping me in the face with what I don't want to know.  Oh, there is a small voice in side that lets me know anyways, but seeing the numbers in black and white is not my favourite thing to do.  Good luck with the diet!  You CAN do it!

  16. I have got to get on my treadmill... I am so bummed... so tired this week from working that I missed the entire week of opportunities to workout.  bad me.  Maybe we can do this together but I am SO NOT getting on my scale until I drop some first.
